Liquid Foundation That Is Good For Your Skin

Look great with a foundation that actually matches your skin tone AND get the added benefits of anti-aging/moisturizing. Sounds too good to be true, but so did all great advances at first.

BAD NEWS

Tinted moisturizers need to be your skin color. If not you can see the dreaded line. I only say this because I see it in the studio often. If I had a dollar for every time someone told me that, 'I'm only wearing tinted moisturizer' my student loan would be paid off. I clean that stuff off just as diligently as any foundation in order to find their Skin Twin. 

GOOD NEWS

Darin has been brewing in the studio for the past few months. We've worked very hard developing a standard formula that is hand mixed per person. This formula works with YOUR EXISTING SKIN TWIN (or custom foundation match for those pre-skin twin). Don't already have your Skin Twin? No problem. Go ahead and mix your own foundation color to perfectly match your skin tone (or adjust what you want it to look like).

WHO IT IS FOR

Anyone who traditionally wears a primer with their mineral foundation will love the way this looks and feels. If you wear the mineral by itself beautifully, then you may not need dewy decadence, but we use him in the studio on bridal parties who had a long night and need to look fresh the next day. Those who have dry skin will love it best, and those with combination skin may be surprised to find that their face no longer gets oily later in the day. If neither of this apply to you, but you still want a nourishing liquid foundation, you can always dust some soften over Dewy Decadence to tame that dewy shine. Sneaky peak, we also have a formula for those who are on the more oily side in production. 

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE + HOW TO USE

Dewy Decadence has the same natural appearance as our minerals. For people with dry and combination skin, they may especially enjoy the way it treats fine lines and has a youth-enhancing effect. To use apply a drop to the center of your forehead between the eyes, two drops on each cheek, and one drop on your chin. Use your hands to spread outwards. OR apply to 'problem' areas as needed. This new formulation works well within your dropper, but may need to be 'activated'. To do so fill your dropper up until it starts to run smoothly. We should already have done this as we hand mix each one, but you may need to occasionally reactivate as you use.

While we do have standard formulas, different minerals that compose your foundation have different absorption properties. This has been the greatest factor we discovered in our beta tests. Because of this not all the ingredients listed at the bottom of this page are present in every formula. However, the ones that are have been explained in greater detail below.

What it does for you: Recreates your skin color

MEADOWFOAM SEED OIL

What it does for you: Have naturally oily skin or combination? Never fear this foundation is still a good fit for you. A great natural youth enhancing moisturizer, it contains tocopherol and Vitamin E, both hydrate your skin. It’s effective in balancing out the production of sebum so it won't clog those beautiful tiny pores of yours. 

Meadowfoam seed oil has antioxidants that counteract damage caused by free radicals. Which leaves your skin looking softer and smoother while stopping wrinkles and lines from forming.

Also why we used it: It is a super stable oil that can stop other oils from going bad, even when it is exposed to heat or air (aka great for repeat opening and shipping).

LUECIDAL SF LIQUID

What it does: Antimicrobial (great for killing bad skin bacteria aka pimples)

Also why we used it: As a natural preservative option that also works against problem spots.
