Out with the old, in with the new
What better time than the new year to bring in change so resolutely? Change can be scary, but it can also be amazing. COVID supply chain issues made us want to rethink everything and part of what we rethought was our lipsticks. We wanted our new lipstick bases to be totally vegan, sexy skincare, super sustainable, and absolutely gorgeous. Not to brag, but we got 4/4.
You may have noticed that we’ve been slowly removing lipstick colors. I know it’s not really our style to do that, so you can feel that we took the decision seriously. The reason we are changing our lipstick collection is that we’re doing better. We’re being smarter, and we want it to be easier for you.
What’s new? What's different?
Instead of individual lipstick listings, you now have listings by undertone and base type. We have 4 new lip bases. 2 of these bases are lipsticks, 1 is a gloss, and 1 is a moisturizing lip tint/stain. Under these listings, you can order different colors in the product drop-down. Nothing too unusual about that, most makeup companies operate under a similar idea (but a different color premise).
Why do we group them this way?
We love making pretty colors but adore making pretty colors with a purpose. Now you don’t need to search so hard for all your bests. Know your ebhuestm? You can see all the lips available to you based on what base you desire. We also have super helpful descriptions and their full ebhuestm codes listed on the bottom part of the page to help you narrow down what is best for your intention, personality, and tones!
What if my favorite color doesn’t look like a match to any of the new ones?
No worries. We would never leave you high and dry. Simply order your lipstick here with the elea blake lipstick you want to replace and we will make you it in our new base. Orders $50 + get 3 free samples, so if you have something in mind list colors in the comments. The lipstick must be an elea blake standard lip color to order via this specific product category.
What are the new bases and who are they best for?
Creme de la creme - best for people who want palettes and like multi-use products. These lipsticks only come in palettes.
HueRu - best for people who love lip colors that won’t run but are also moisturizing.
Boss Gloss - best for people who want glossy but not sticky lips.
Slick Talker (Tinted Lip Treatment) - best for very dry lips for a dose of soothing moisture without a super glossy look.
