Be the Leaves on the Wind | Fall Looks Part 2

You feel fall to your core, but the looks from part 1 didn't resonate. OR maybe they did resonate, but you need more options? We respect both sides of that fall coin, and we're here to show you some more styles you may want to rock.

Ultra classic fall look

THE ULTRA CLASSIC

If you tried to rock the classic reddish browns of fall, but thought it was not the look for you.... You were right (partly)! Its true that not everyone can rock that exact shade, but you know what... that doesn't have to stop you from finding YOUR version. To know which one is right for you, you'll need to know your strength color. If you don't, no problem! See how to find yours with this fun color game/sample pack

So if you are the coolest zone, then you'll look vibrant and cheerful in that jacket above. Unfortunately for the model in that photo, I don't think they had her in quite the right tones. You'll know if a color looks right on your if (1) it creates a natural glow and smooths your face without taking away focus from it or (2) it matches your ebhues shopping swatches (easy right!).

Strength 45 is a super fun skin zone for Fall fashion. You can create a whole face of makeup in this tone. You'll LOVE innate all over for a soft look or/and Private for more drama all over. Use Pennywise for a poppy looking contour/crease color OR go ultra rich and deep with Surprise!. Yummy is an amazing blush in the same color family. Bring back some of that already fading summer tan with Heroine (the female hero! Get your mind out of the gutter) If you aren't sure of your lip depth then order this amazing lip palette

Strength 21 can still be considered that classic fall brown. You can create a whole face of makeup in this tone. Use Agreeable all over for a soft golden glow that can't be contained. Shameless makes a perfect contour/crease color and/or go ultra rich and deep with Busy Bee. Bring back some of that already fading summer tan with February Love that can also be blushy for those with richly pigmented skin. If you aren't sure of your lip depth then order this amazing lip palette

Strength 412  is on the edge of the traditional brown. Use Outrageous all over for a soft golden glow that can't be contained. Me Me Me makes a lovely eye pop or all over eye color. It can be used to chill out that shimmer from Outrageous or as a stand-alone for a more conservative eye. A perfect contour/crease color is Valuable, and he is a go-to in the studio for subtle, dramatic nude eye looks. Give your lips a subtle nude shine with Midas Touch for some warmth.

Strength 417 is not what a lot of people may think of as brown, but it can look that way on the right person. Use Treasured  as all over for a soft golden glow that can't be contained. Gold Flecks makes a lovely eye pop or all over eye color. A perfect contour/crease color is Helpful, and he is an under-discovered secret. Give your lips a subtle nude shine with Splash of this, Splash of that for some warmth.

FROM TRADITIONAL TO TRENDY

If you are like me, you may have an idea of green in fall colors but in that 'army' color range. I was struck by how different this look was when browsing the trends, but in a pleasant, "I totally want something like that" kind of way. Would I wear it with a fanny pack, albeit a fancy one, mmmmmmmm probably not. Would I fault someone who did? DEFINITELY NOT! Also, unless the day is unusually warm, don't wear shoes like that in the fall. We believe in not freezing for fashion here.

How can I rock this look and inspire others to be green with envy?

Great question fictional voice! This is an AMAZING green to contrast all that red that is traditional for the season. It reminds me of the year I wore red on St. Patricks Day and felt like the Belle of the Ball. When everyone is zigging (wearing burnt colors) you are zagging. I wouldn't recommend this look for the meek because it is a sure fire way to be the center of attention. However, if you want people to take notice in that "WOW what are they doing differently lately" way, I've got ya!

We are eyeballing this particular tone as a Life 21/22, but you could really do any Life, Determination, or even the cooler Energy colors to get a similar feel. Use Designful (perfect match) as an all over color, Lawn Parties for a transition, and Obvious for grounding, lining, and smoke.

BACK TO TRADITIONAL, CONSERVATIVE CHIC

Okay, let's say you can't stomach the thought of doing anything too colorful... I mean you JUST embraced the idea of wearing a red lipstick and now we are telling you to wear GREEN!? We get it! We totally do. I know it doesn't seem that way but it is! Here is your classic, sassy, pop look to rock this fall.

Basically the most important part of this look is a DEEP red lip. She is wearing a P14 we think that is like Intense. So here are a few lip palettes that will give you a range of color (including deep) without the fright. Don't do the coral! We love you! Have a wonderful fall. We will have more looks for you and if you want to see some other fun fall fashions check out Part 1. If you want to find out your best colors gift yourself (and maybe do it with a friend) the gift that keeps on giving, the color games to find your personal color palette.
