More On Intentions

Oh those pesky Intentions again, we have talked about it before but we wanted to show you more examples of Intentions in our makeup and how it all works. So say you get draped, or you do one of our online drapes, and you find that in your Power colors you really rock out Power 28. What now?

Well as we discussed before there is a range in each Intention. We designated this range, in it’s most simple form, from Dark – to Medium – to Light. So what does it look like when products share these characteristics in this hue, no matter what medium they may be… well let us show you with pictures!

Dark colors are as follows, when we say dark we don’t just mean they have a lot of black in them, we mean they are in one of the following (or both) of our genus’ : Deep or Vivid

Medium colors have a little more depth than those Light colors but not enough to hang out with the Dark colors. They usually are in either Vivid or Pure.

Light colors are just that, light. They usually fall into the Subtle or Early groups in terms of our Genus category.

As you may have noticed, while the colors vary, they all share the same characteristics of having the same quality “red” to them, that is a yellow undertone that shines in a flattering way through the red top note. That is what designates them as Power 28, but that doesn’t mean that each of the colors in this group don’t have their own personalities and characteristics. Think of a family, while everyone in the family that shares the same bloodline has similar facial and aesthetic characteristics, each has their own style, personality, and look which sets them apart. The same is true with our makeup families!

When you are trying your colors on, don’t be afeared by a particular category. For example, if you find that you look good in Deep colors, they will not appear as dramatic on you and they will only further emphasize your beautiful self!
