Shipping & returns

ATTENTION • 

If you choose to pick the cheapest delivery option within the country, we will be unable to insure package. We are not liable if package is lost if you choose this option. If you would like to add insurance to the cheapest option we can charge that to your card, just put in comments section that this is your desire.

DELIVERY • Orders will be shipped within 1-5 business days. In the event that we are experiencing a high sales volume and can not meet the deadline we will contact you with a shipping date.

BACK ORDER • If for any unforeseen reason, an item is on back order, you will be notified within 72 hours (3 business days) by email. At this point you will have the option of canceling the order or having the order shipped to you automatically once the product is available.

SHIPPING / HANDLING FEES • Shipping within the USA is provided through USPS. First class shipping rates are calculated for standard shipping (2-9 days).  International shipping typically takes longer than in-state shipping. We will insure your product privately using a company called Stamps.com that works with USPS and allows us to ship even internationally first class with their private insurance. Our website will automatically charge an extra shipping and handling fee of $5.00 which covers the cost of insurance. We only ship insured no exceptions. In the event that your shippings fees exceed the amount collected we will adjust your shipping rate and charge your account accordingly. We make every effort to provide for you the best shipping rates.  Our rates are obtained directly from the USPS shipping calculator.

INSURANCE • All orders are charged a flat insurance fee of $2.05 to guarantee proper delivery. This fee does not include normal postage & shipping fees.

SHIPPING REFUSALS • If an order is returned, refused, or no one is available to accept, you will be responsible for the shipment total, shipping fees & reshipping fees (double shipping fees). Please make arrangements to have your order received.

RETURNS • Elea Blake Cosmetics puts an excessive amount of care into the handcrafting of each mineral makeup product. To ensure the purity of our products, we are unable to accept any returns. All sales are final.  Please order carefully as all ordering errors will be subject to a restocking fee of 50% of your order.  Returns due to our error require a return authorization number, which can be obtained by calling or emailing our offices.

FILING A CLAIM:  If your order gets lost in the mail no worries we always send your product insured.  With that said we must follow the rules and regulations of filing a claim which can cause frustration on both our parts.  In order to file a claim we must wait 30 days after the shipment date.  This is not our requirement but one of the Insurance carrier.  We also need a letter or email from you stating that you did not receive the order.  Once 30 days has passed a claim can be filed.  We will also provide you with a tracking number so you can follow the history of your delivery.  In the mean time you may be without your goods, and let’s face it, that stinks!  We’re as bummed as you!  Unfortunately we can not send a replacement order until the claim has been collected.     We hate for you to be without your lovelies.  We would be happy to assist you in purchasing a smaller version of those mineral colors you just can not run out of.  Let us know we’re here to help!

DAMAGE & DISCREPANCIES • Email our office within 72 hours to report the damage. It is necessary for you to call the carrier immediately for a damage inspection and claim for reimbursement. All original packing materials and cartons must be retained for inspection purposes. Please provide your phone number(s) in the event we have a question and need to speak to you further. Lost packages are to be reported by you. We will provide you with the tracking information in order for you to file a claim. We insure all packages.

We only ship insured. No exceptions. We ship USPS.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS • Duties and taxes assessed by your government will be your responsibility. elea blake does not mark international shipments as “Gifts”, nor will we compromise our integrity by making false statements regarding the contents of your package. elea blake has no control over the amount of time your package takes to clear Customs in your country. Please be aware that in very few instances certain governments will reject your shipment based on the customs information. In such cases, we will work with the carrier to get your package accepted and give you the option of reshipping the order one more time or refunding your payment of the product. Any shipping fees are not reimbursed. In the event additional shipping fees are necessary these are your responsibility.

NOTE • elea blake automatically applies sales tax to your order in accordance with individual state regulations if your shipping address is in the state of Tennessee.

ACTIVATION DEVICE:  What’s with the sharp pointy object packed with my order?  It seemed so ordinary we couldn’t help renaming it the “activation device”.  To make sure your colors don’t arrive jostled we enclose this with your order.  Simply remove it, choose your color, open it and then carefully press through the indentations of the seal so the mineral may flow through.  One or two holes usually do the trick.
