Serenity Now

Summer is winding down, school is starting back up, and some may be feeling the pressure of an approaching Fall… it can feel overwhelming!
As busy individuals ourselves, we wanted to create a collection that inspires calm in any observer. Studying the Pantone color of the year, Rose Quartz, and the rest of the year’s trend colors, we took the most calming colors and created a palette for each season to soothe the mind. We largely took our inspiration from The Lovely Drawers Pinterest mood board as we have always appreciated the color palettes she posts.

Taking elements of the brushed gold – which we feel brings to mind the approaching Fall, soft lilac greys of stormy rain clouds, and soothing pinks from rose quartz we created the Serenity Collection.

Check it out.

The Summer Collection has the soft lilac note in Luminous eyeshadow, which though it appears white has a strong blue undertone when applied. As Summer ladies don’t usually have the ability to wear gold, we used the Rose Quartz overtones of So Fine lipgloss and Love Me eyeshadow to give a bit of brushed warmth in their look.

The Spring Collection has the beautiful warm Rose Quartz color in Candid lipgloss paired with Iridescent Gold eyeshadow for a brushed golden look perfect for the inner eye V. Wear Daring from the outer V in to bring in the soft grey lilac tones and look absolutely smoldering.

The Autumn Collection has the strongest gold eyeshadow in his most aptly named eye color, Gold. Though he appears very strong, he softens on Autumn women and looks decadent paired with Meticulous eyeshadow. The whole look comes together with Duet lipgloss, which brings in tiny flecks of the gold from the eyeshadow to a Rose Quartz base color.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Winter Collection. This collection features the softer side of the Serenity Now lilac and gold colors in the eyeshadows to pair with a bold more pigmented Rose Quartz lipgloss. Pairing Unwavering on the outer V of the eye with White Gold creates the perfect soft serene look. You can use White Gold as a highlighter as well and add a deep blue eyeliner for a more evening look!
